FP-Impact is a year out for God, serving in King's Church Carlisle.

For the last year Jess and Hugues were involved mainly with Student work. They organised events, spent time on campus, did Bible studies, went to student weekends away and of course drink lots of tea!

As well as that they were involved in the church youth group. Jess and Hugues helped with the youth on a weekly basis with socials and bibles studies. As well as this they helped with the kids work and served the church. There are lots of other things going on, within the church, regionally and nationally. For example; regional prayer meetings, teaching days, National Prayer and Fasting, Youth Leaders Conference and Newday.

As volunteer FP’ers, King’s Church Carlisle pays for their tuition fees for the year and give them a monthly allowance.  They get trained throughout the year and get together with the other Northern FP’ers in Newcastle, covering topics such as; lifestyle evangelism, working with kids, OT and NT theology, life of a leader, kingdom of God. Also with the chance to experience church life abroad.
