Who We Are...

History

Kings Church Carlisle has its roots in the coming to Carlisle of Eric and Alison Cairns.

Having been part of New Frontiers churches for some years then completing the New Frontiers' training in minstry program, God spoke clearly to both Eric and Alison to move north and plant a church in Carlisle.

The start of 2004 saw the coming together of several couples and singles miraculously sharing the same vision, a heart to build relationships together and the same call of God to be a part of a new church in the City and would in time reach into the Borders region.

The summer has come and gone, God has kept on adding and relationships have deepened as we have begun to discover more of what it can mean to be Church . . . part of his body.

Floods
The Floods of 2006 have come and gone, we have re-located ourSunday Meeting place several times. Our current venue, the Main School at St Aidan's High School, is gradually being filled with people of all ages, walks of life and experiences; marrieds, singles, young, old and students.

History, we are short of, being barely three years old, but we're certain of our future. Come join us and be apart in forming our history.
